Launching TECgirls Youth Ambassadors

  • May 13
  • 2 min read

At TECgirls we know that it can be very hard for young people to find meaningful work experience that helps build confidence, meet industry professionals and gain real-world skills. That is why we are working to create a new TECgirls Youth Ambassador programme, offering real work experiences and education outreach opportunities for 16-20 year olds. Perfect for exploring new career pathways and building up valuable experiences for university applications and CVs.

Our first offering is a three day programme built around our Reach for the Sky Aviation, Aerospace & Engineering Festival at Spaceport Cornwall, Newquay on the 20th and 21st of June. This exciting opportunity gives young people the chance to support a large live public event while gaining hands-on experience in STEM outreach, event delivery and public engagement.

Youth Ambassadors will work alongside the TECgirls team, industry professionals and event partners to help deliver interactive activities for children and families across the festival weekend.

What Young People Will Gain

The programme has been designed to provide genuine, practical experience linked to the Government’s new Real Work Experience expectations and Gatsby Benchmark 5: Encounters with Employers and Employees.

Participants will:

  • Gain real-world experience supporting a live event

  • Develop communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills

  • Meet professionals working in aviation, aerospace and engineering

  • Build confidence in professional environments

  • Strengthen CVs, applications and personal statements

  • Receive a certificate of participation and professional reference

Importantly, this is not a passive shadowing opportunity. Youth Ambassadors will become part of the delivery team and take an active role in helping younger children engage with STEM activities and engineering experiences.

About the Festival

Reach for the Sky is a family-friendly aviation, aerospace and engineering festival designed to inspire the next generation into future careers. The event brings together industry professionals, STEM organisations and interactive activities to help young people and families explore opportunities across aviation, engineering and technology.

Good afternoon. I found this site after reading comments in a UK discussion about usability in online entertainment platforms and how quickly users can get from entry page to game selection. I decided to check a few examples out of curiosity. While navigating through different tabs I opened fruity-chance.uk in the middle of that process. The interface is minimal and structured, with clear separation between sections. Everything feels placed logically, and moving through game-related areas doesn’t require much adjustment or time to understand.

An old friend shared bigwinscasino-gb.uk  with me after a really messy breakup, mostly just to shake off the blues I’d been feeling. One night when I was tossing and turning for the life of me, I decided to sign in and was genuinely surprised by how unfussy the atmosphere was—not loud or intrusive at all. I poured myself a drink, got comfortable, and finally felt my head settle after weeks of tension. I ended the night having a proper yarn with someone new and everything just flowed. It was exactly the kind of mental reset I needed.

I was close to giving up on online slots altogether when I came across Lucky Twice Casino in a discussion thread. Someone casually mentioned it, so I thought, why not? At first, it felt like the usual grind, but then I hit a feature that basically recouped everything I’d lost earlier that week. That little turnaround changed my mood completely. It wasn’t about the money so much as finally catching a break—it made me want to keep playing instead of quitting.
