TECgirls Mentor clubs are hybrid afterschool STEM clubs engaging girls in KS2. But it’s more than a club, it’s a movement! Students who take part in the club become TECgirls Mentors to the rest of the school, supporting their peers and helping their teachers run the STEM activities in the school.​

TECgirls occasionally run whole school assemblies and workshops aimed at all genders. Our workshops combine career connections and inspiration with real industry insights and a connections to local career paths for students. Workshops all include interactive elements and are built around meeting Gatsby Benchmarks for increase career engagement and experience.

TECgirls Pioneer Challenges give girls in secondary schools the chance to get hands-on in exciting fields like aerospace engineering, environmental data, and marine technology. Each Challenge connects students with real-world issues and inspiring role models working in Cornwall’s STEM industries.​

• Guides and support for school on how to incorporate content into their lessons and extra circular activities.

• New opportunities to engage schools in STEM subjects

TECgirls have created a number of Work Experience Weeks for girls 16+ to help them connect to employers in hard to reach areas of engineering, manufacturing, aerospace, and critical minerals. Our hosted week brings together 10 girls in a shared experience with hands on practical learning as well as career advice and direct connections to employers. ​
