Good news, the festival is now happening over TWO days.

All activities on Sunday will be the same as Saturday, so there’s no need to attend both days, just pick the day that works best for you.

​This family-friendly festival is all about getting stuck into the world of aviation, aerospace, and engineering. Girls and their families can climb inside real aircraft, try out hands-on engineering activities, explore how planes are designed and built, and discover the clever ideas that keep them flying.
With over 20 interactive stands and workshops led by engineers and apprentices, there’s plenty to explore, create, and experiment with.

Along the way, girls will meet inspiring female engineers, pilots, and industry professionals, hear their stories, ask questions, and start imagining their own future in aviation and aerospace engineering.

Take It Further with Take Flight
The Reach for the Sky Festival is just the beginning. Our wider TECgirls Take Flight programme works directly with schools across Cornwall through hybrid after-school clubs, in-school workshops, and work experience opportunities focused on aviation and aerospace engineering.

Girls who are inspired at the festival can continue their journey by exploring aircraft design, drone technology, and real aviation career pathways throughout the year, building confidence, skills, and ambition step by step.
