We’re so proud to be partnering with Cornwall Airport Newquay for this year’s Reach for the Sky Festival because the airport isn’t just part of the backdrop, it’s part of the story.
The festival site will overlook active runways, where aircraft take off, land and where so many women’s careers have taken flight. From air traffic control to engineering, passenger services to commercial leadership, Cornwall Airport Newquay is a place where women are helping shape the future of aviation.
Right now, more than 38% of the airport’s workforce is female, with women represented in every department but one. That’s a huge deal in an industry that’s still working to balance the scales, especially in the technical and operational roles. Since 2022, Cornwall Airport Newquay has seen a 12% boost in female hires with big wins in traditionally male-dominated areas like Security, Airside Operations, and Engineering.
“I would absolutely recommend working in aviation. It’s an exciting environment where technology is always evolving, and it’s great to be part of that.” - Tyler Penney, Aerodrome and Spaceport Operations Coordinator
This partnership means a lot because Reach for the Sky isn’t just about planes in the air, it’s about showing girls what their futures could look like. The festival overlooks a working airport that’s actively building the next generation of women leaders in aviation.
Plus, this year Cornwall Airport Newquay will have a stand at the festival, giving girls and their families a chance to meet some of the incredible women working behind the scenes and hear how their own journeys took off.
When hundreds of girls arrive at the Reach for the Sky Festival this July, they won’t just dive into hands-on STEM activities or design their dream aircraft, they’ll be doing it right next to a place where women are already soaring.
Are You Ready for Take-Off?
Pack your imagination. Bring your questions. And prepare to see your future take flight.

Hello folks. I am a big fan of the original King Kong movie, so I often search for related games. I found this site which seems to host the popular King Kong slot machine. I decided to register to see if they had the latest version of the game. King Kong Cash offers the full game with all its bonus features intact. I played for a while, hoping to trigger the Big Money feature. The game was stingy with the bonuses, and my balance was dropping. Just as I was about to quit, I hit the barrel blast feature. It awarded a mystery cash prize that was enough to satisfy me.
I was close to giving up on online slots altogether when I came across Mr Pacho Casino in a discussion thread – https://mrpachoslots.uk/. Someone casually mentioned it, so I thought, why not? At first, it felt like the usual grind, but then I hit a feature that basically recouped everything I'd lost earlier that week. That little turnaround changed my mood completely. It wasn't about the money so much as finally catching a break—it made me want to keep playing instead of quitting.
