Over five exciting days, just ten participants will step into the world of aviation and aerospace: working on a real aircraft, learning hands-on engineering skills, and visiting industry-leading sites including The Parnall Aircraft Company, Newquay Airport, and Spaceport Cornwall.

This October half-term, young women in Cornwall will step out of the classroom and into the cockpit. For the very first time, Cornwall will host a dedicated Take Flight Work Experience Week.
Successful applicants will get the chance to work on real aircraft, explore cutting-edge aerospace technology, and see what it takes to build a future in one of the most thrilling industries in the world.

The week runs Monday 27 – Friday 31 October, with full-day sessions from 0830 - 1630. Free daily transport will be provided from Truro, making it easy for students from across the county to take part.
This is a rare opportunity! Just ten places are available, and the programme is completely free. Applications are open now and close on Monday 6 October. No previous experience is required, just enthusiasm and an interest in exploring the world of aviation and aerospace.

Spaces on the programme will be given based on the application responses. We encourage you to answer thoughtfully and share your enthusiasm, curiosity and motivation. No prior experience is needed - just an interest in engineering, aviation or aerospace.
