This week is both Online Safety week and Children's mental health week. This is a very interesting coincidence, because as we are all learning these things are extremely interconnected.

In a modern age where most households no longer rely on landlines and many homes don’t have desktop computers, children will likely need a phone at some point. That doesn’t mean unlimited access is necessary. It’s important to have conversations and set agreements about how a child will use a phone, what safety measures are in place, and what steps to take if problems arise.

TECwomen CIC has secured just under £100,000 in UK government funding to support our TECgirls Reach For The Sky Festival and our growing Take Flight education programme. This funding will help our team inspire even more girls and young women across Cornwall to explore bold, brilliant futures in aviation, aerospace and STEM.
